To ask His Majesty's Government how long they have made internal estimates relating to (1) the number of foreign students arriving in the UK, (2) the number of dependents brought to the UK by foreign students, and (3) the total amount of fees paid by foreign students.
The Home Office publishes data on student visas by nationality in the 'Immigration Statistics Quarterly Release': https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/immigration-statistics-quarterly-release. Data on the grants of student visas are published in table 'Vis_D02' of the detailed entry clearance visas dataset https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/immigration-system-statistics-data-tables#entry-clearance-visas-granted-outside-the-uk. Nationality and time frames can also be filtered. Information on how to use the dataset can be found in the 'Notes' page of the workbook. The latest data relates from January 2005 up to the end of September 2023.
Additionally, the Migrant journey: 2022 report https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/migrant-journey-2022-report shows that 99% of people whose leave in the UK started on a student visa in 2022 had a recorded arrival.
Information on future Home Office statistical release dates can be found in the 'Research and statistics calendar': https://www.gov.uk/search/research-and-statistics?keywords=immigration&content_store_document_type=upcoming_statistics&organisations%5B%5D=home-office&order=relevance.
