To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what progress the Government has made on introducing a Takaful-based university fee funding structure.

The government remains committed to introducing an Alternative Student Finance product for tuition fee and maintenance support. Details on implementation will follow the conclusion of the Review of Post-18 Education and Funding.
