To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether the Government plans to introduce a bottle deposit scheme to increase the number of plastic bottles reused and recycled.

The Government is minded to introduce a deposit return scheme for drinks containers from 2023, subject to further evidence and analysis.
