To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will hold discussions with his counterpart in the US Government on that Government's response to the deployment of two Russian Tu-160 strategic bombers to Venezuela.

FCO Ministers speak regularly to their US counterparts about issues of global security including Russian activity. The Government of Venezuela should focus on alleviating the humanitarian suffering of their people rather than hosting Russian military aircraft.
