To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many and what proportion of (a) primary and (b) secondary schools in each local authority are (i) academies and (ii) maintained schools.

As of 28 November 2018, 31% of primary schools are academies and free schools across all local authorities. This figure is 74% for secondary schools.
