Pursuant to the answer of 4 July 2013, Hansard, column 779W, the number of aircraft used to calculate the current net book value (NBV) of each fleet is shown in the following table.

Aircraft Number
Typhoon 104
Hawk T1 126
Hawk T2 28
Tornado 112
Hercules 30
Globemaster 8
Tucano 92
Sentry 6
Shadow 5
King Air 350 4

These numbers only reflect aircraft currently on the asset register; they do not include assets in the course of construction or future deliveries. It should also be noted that the number of aircraft and the total NBV figure cannot be used in conjunction to calculate an accurate NBV per aircraft.
