To ask the Minister for Women and Equalities how much (a) she and (b) officials in the Government Equalities Office spent on external assistance to prepare for (i) appearances before select committees and (ii) contact with the media in (A) 2011-12 and (B) 2012-13; and if she will make a statement.

Neither myself nor my officials spent anything on external assistance when appearing before select committees or on contact with the media on behalf of DCMS, which includes the GEO.
