Work and Pensions written question – answered am ar 14 Mawrth 2013.
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what guidance is given by his Department to disability employment advisers on situations in which people in the support group of employment and support allowance wish to undertake disability provisions and approaches them for their assistance.
Disability employment advisers (DEA) are trained to work with claimants who face complex employment situations because of their disability or health condition. Operational guidance helps them to identify and refer to any provision a claimant may be suitable for and this includes those in the ESA Support Group.
