To ask Her Majesty's Government whether universal credit recipients who are paid with a simple payment card will be allowed to withdraw only part of their monthly or twice-monthly universal credit payment if they so choose.

The simple payment card will allow users to withdraw the whole amount (and not part) of each benefit payment at the same time, up to a daily limit of £600.

Universal credit recipients who want to withdraw only part of their monthly or twice-monthly universal credit payment will need to use a transactional bank account.
