To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how many contracts his Department has with social enterprises; and if he will make a statement.

Social enterprises are not defined by a particular legal form and as a result are not required to register with any one body or specifically identify themselves as such. Information on how many contracts DWP has with social enterprises is therefore unavailable.
