To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many and what percentage of individuals wrongly convicted of historical sex abuse have been awarded compensation in each of the last five years.

Records of cases in which compensation has been paid for wrongful conviction, under either the statutory or ex gratia schemes, are not kept in such a way that would enable the information required to be provided without incurring disproportionate cost.
