The whole of Wales moved to alert level 2 on 17 May. This represented a significant easing of restrictions that allows large parts of the hospitality and entertainment sector to reopen.

Transforming Towns grant funding is continuing to support economic recovery across the Monmouthshire constituency. Over £2.5 million has been allocated to Monmouthshire County Council since 2018 to bring forward regeneration projects, which has included numerous projects in the town centres of Monmouth, Abergavenny, Chepstow and Usk.
Businesses in Pembrokeshire continue to benefit from all the different programmes made available by the Welsh Government. The restrictions business fund alone has, to date, provided 6,813 grants in Pembrokeshire, supporting businesses in the county with more than £23.7 million.
