“(1) In this Chapter—

‘document’ includes information recorded in any form;

‘give’—

(a) in relation to a notice to an occupier of premises, includes delivering or leaving it at the premises or sending it there by post, and ‘given’, in relation to such a notice, is to be read accordingly;
