I have two specific questions for the Minister on clause 44. Will she state to which bodies she envisages clause 44 and the duty to notify applying? I would like her to spell that out clearly. My second question is on a concern that the British Medical Association has expressed on the mandatory reporting of cases of adult trafficking. It says that although it is hard to envisage a case where it would not report suspicions, medical practitioners are concerned that they need to maintain professional discretion. The principle of patient consent has to inform their work. Will she give an undertaking that all professional bodies will be involved in the drafting of any relevant codes of conduct relating to clause 44?
