Part of Justice (Northern Ireland) Bill – in a Public Bill Committee am 4:45 pm ar 31 Ionawr 2002.
I am happy to report that the Minister and I are actually in agreement this afternoon on his interpretation of amendment No. 70. I thank him for that. I do not intend to say anything further, except to record my disappointment. I feel that the words ''acting jointly'' could mean that there would be no devolution of criminal justice functions to the Assembly. However, I can see that the Minister has no intention of giving way on the matter, so I beg to ask leave to withdraw the amendment.
Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
