pre budget report

The Pre-Budget Report sets out updated forecasts for the economy and public finances, reports on how the Government’s policies are helping to deliver its long-term goals, and describes the reforms that the Government is considering ahead of the next Budget and on which it will be consulting. It is usually presented to Parliament by the Chancellor towards the end of the calendar year in November or December.
