Draft Representation of the People (Annual Canvass) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 — Data Matching — Paperless Process
A majority of MPs disagreed and wedi pleidleisio in favour of "data matching" with Department for Work and Pensions records to enable electoral roll officers to identify homes where electors are unlikely to have changed since the previous year, and to use electronic means such as an email or text message to confirm who lives at such properties.
