That Mr David Kidney be discharged from the West Midlands Regional Select Committee and Mrs Janet Dean be there added.- (Mark Tami.)

This motion is debatable if moved before 10 o'clock, so it would be entirely wrong for the House simply to rubber-stamp a decision of this magnitude on the membership of the West Midlands Regional Select Committee, without having a full and proper debate on the matter. I note that we have almost a minute in which we can find perhaps arguments on either side about whether Mrs. Dean should replace the Under-Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Mr. Kidney, as the motion suggests.
