That this House takes note of European Union Document No. COM(08) 763, Commission Communication on the EU and the Arctic Region; welcomes the Commission's Communication as the first step towards an EU Arctic policy; and encourages the Government's active engagement in further discussions to ensure that UK interests are reflected in the EU policy. —(Helen Goodman.)
