Ordered,That (1) Standing Order No. 13 (Arrangement of public business) shall have effect for this Session with the following modifications, namely:

In paragraph (4) the word "eleven" shall be substituted for the word "ten" in line 43; in paragraph (7) the word "eight" shall be substituted for the word "ten" in line 64; and in paragraph (8) the word "two" shall be substituted for the word "four" in line 66;

(2) Private Members' Bills shall have precedence over Government business on 17th, 24th and 31st January, 7th, 14th, and 21st February, 20th and 27th March, 3rd April, 1st May, and 5th June;

(3) Private Members' Notices of Motions shall have precedence over Government business on 29th November, 6th and 13th December, 28th February, 6th and 13th March, 8th May, and 12th June, and ballots for these Notices shall be held after Questions on 13th, 20th and 27th November, 12th, 19th and 26th February, 22nd April, and 20th May;

(4) On Monday 3rd February and Monday 27th April, Private Members' Notices of Motions shall have precedence over Government business until Seven o'clock and ballots for these Notices shall be held after Questions on Thursday 16th January and Thursday 2nd April; and

(5) No Notice of Motion shall be handed in for any of the days on which Private Members' Notices have precedence under this order in anticipation of the ballot for that day.—[Mr. Neil Hamilton.]
