Yes, the importance of confidentiality will be stressed to short-term employees in the census office taken on for the purpose of collecting census information. They will be governed by the same statutory duty of confidentiality as everyone else who is, under the terms of the Bill, under the control of the registrar-general.

I believe that the Bill represents a small but important step in securing that absolute duty of confidentiality. I commend it to the House.
