I would refer the hon. Gentleman to the Answer which I gave to my hon. Friend, the Member for Wrexham (Mr. J. Idwal Jones) on 20th November.

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that these statements have not clarified the position and that the London County Council is not giving planning permission to any factory development within its area which has ancillary office space in excess of 2,500 sq. ft.? Is this a satisfactory situation and do the Government wish it to continue?

We hope to publish the Bill shortly and that should clarify the situation.

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that while office limitation is to be welcomed, there are many worth-while cases for exemption which are now holding fire? Will he please hurry the legislation for exemption permits?

I agree, and we are doing so.
