Resolution reported,That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make further provision for maintaining or restoring the cleanliness of the rivers and other inland waters in Scotland, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred by the Secretary of State under that Act and of any increase attributable to the provisions of that Act in the sums so payable under any other enactment.
