Resolution reported,That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the law relating to hire-purchase and credit-sale, and to make further provision as to the registration and licensing of mechanically propelled vehicles in relation to vehicles let or agreed to be sold by way of hire-purchase or conditional sale, it is expedient to authorise—

1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase in the sums so payable under section 22 of the Vehicles (Excise) Apt 1962 which may be attributable to any regulations made by virtue of provisions of the said Act of the present Session relating to the registration and licensing of vehicles, and to any provision made by the last-mentioned Act as to expenses incurred in the performance of functions under any such regulations;
2. (b) the payment into the Exchequer of fees paid in pursuance of any such regulations.
