To ask the Minister of Agriculture if he is satisfied with the progress made in repairing and strengthening the sea defences breached or weakened in the East Coast flood disaster a year ago; and whether he will make a statement.

As today is the first anniversary of the East Coast flood disaster, Mr. Speaker, would you consider asking the Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture, whom I see in his place, to answer Question No. 59 in view of the special circumstances?
