asked the Minister of Agriculture to what extent regular inspections are carried out by his officers of approved quarantine kennels in order to ensure that they are kept up to the required standard; in how many cases it has been necessary to withdraw his approval of a place of detention within the last three years; and on what grounds.

Premises approved for the detention of imported dogs and cats are inspected quarterly by my officers. It has not been necessary within the last three years to withdraw approval of a place of detention.
