I thought I had made it quite plain that I do not want to be drawn into discussions on methods at this stage, but on the general question whether any improvements or alterations which are found desirable could be made in the future as well as, or better than, in the past, I should say that the British Transport Commission will be in a more favourable position, in regard to finance, to carry out any changes than the many separate undertakings would have been.
