– in the House of Commons am 12:00 am ar 22 Ebrill 1948.
asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury in how many cases in the last three years have pensions been refused to civil servants who declined to remain in the Service after the usual retiring age; and in how many cases have such pensions subsequently been granted.
I am not aware of any such case.
Will my right hon. Friend look it up, because I am aware, if he is not, of one case in each category?
If my hon. Friend will let me have the details I shall be very glad to look into them.
Is it not a deplorable fact that the right hon. Gentleman's Department has not got the necessary information in order to answer Members of Parliament.
