Oral Answers to Questions — British Army – in the House of Commons am 12:00 am ar 13 Ebrill 1948.
asked the Secretary of State for War how many British deserters are believed to be at large in Palestine.
I have called for information on this matter from the military authorities in the Middle East, and I will write to the hon. Member when a reply has been received.
Could the right hon. Gentleman say whether it would be possible to get a similar return about other deserters, particularly Yugoslav and Polish? Is that a possible thing to ask for, if I put down a Question?
If it comes within my province, I shall certainly try to furnish the information.
