asked the Minister of Food if he will give the number of pigs killed on licence; and the number killed and made available for the ordinary meat and bacon rations, respectively, in December, 1946, January, 1947, December, 1947, and January, 1948.

NOTE.—A small proportion of the pigs slaughtered at bacon factories and Government slaughterhouses were unsuitable for the bacon or the meat ration and were used for manufacture.
