Oral Answers to Questions — Education – in the House of Commons am 12:00 am ar 4 Rhagfyr 1947.
asked the Minister of Education the number of rural schools in Devonshire in which the children are supplied with heat-treated milk, untreated milk, and dried milk, respectively.
The figures for which the hon. Member asks are not readily available at present owing to records being moved. I will send him the information as soon as possible.
Is the Minister aware that there are a large number of rural schools in Devonshire getting dried milk, and can he say what steps he is taking to ensure supplies of liquid fresh milk?
When I get the reports I will look into that matter and if the facts are as the hon. Member says I will see what can be done.
