Resolved: That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the salary of an Economic Secretary to the Treasury, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament to any such Secretary of an annual salary not exceeding two thousand pounds."—[Mr. Glenvil Hall.]
