Oral Answers to Questions — Germany – in the House of Commons am 12:00 am ar 1 Rhagfyr 1947.
asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what disciplinary action has now been taken as a result of the publication of poster, Z.E.C.O./20006/1/Org.1, in the British zone of Germany.
This poster merely calls attention to previous routine orders forbidding barter with Germans and it is, therefore, not possible to attribute to it the taking of any specific disciplinary action.
In view of the fact that the mere issue of this poster must have been based on a very serious incident, will the hon. Gentleman state what steps he is taking to clean up the scandals, or alleged scandals, in the Control Commission?
The hon. Member persists in these general allegations against the British Control Commission, and never produces any particular instances.
On a point of Order. May I state that details of this particular incident are on the way to the Minister?
That is not a point of Order.
