Oral Answers to Questions — Agriculture – in the House of Commons am 12:00 am ar 1 Rhagfyr 1947.
Colonel Wheatley:
asked the Minister of Agriculture what is the present position of the proposal to constitute an elected central committee to co-ordinate the activities of county garden produce committees and village produce associations; and will he hasten consideration of the proposals.
I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer given to the hon. Member for Western Dorset (Mr. Digby) on 24th November.
Colonel Wheatley:
Will the hon. and learned Gentleman impress upon his right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture the necessity that this committee should be formed as soon as possible, and will he hasten consideration of the proposal, and not delay it any longer?
I am sure that my right hon. Friend will bear in mind what the hon. and gallant Gentleman has just said.
