asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he proposes to reinstate Mr. H. Ryder in his post in the Control Commission, following his acquittal after retrial by a Control Commission Court.

No, Sir. Mr. Ryder was retried on one charge only and acquitted. His conviction on four other charges still stands.
