asked the Minister of Education how many children of five years of age are excluded from school in Upwell; and for what reason.

I understand that some 15 children of five years of age were temporarily excluded from the Upwell county primary school owing to the transfer of a member of the staff to another school. The vacancy on the staff of the Upwell school has now been filled and the excluded children are being admitted.

For what reason did the difficulty arise in getting another teacher?
