asked the Secretary of State for War if he is satisfied that the lectures on economics, drama and mathematics given to Service students at Welbeck Abbey during the past six months have been conducted without political bias.

Every effort is made to keep Army Education free from propaganda for any movement or party. I have had no reports of political bias being shown in lectures on any subject at the Army College referred to.

Would the right hon. Gentleman look into this matter again? According to my information, all the three courses of lectures mentioned have been given at one time or another with great political bias.
