Oral Answers to Questions — Public Health – in the House of Commons am 12:00 am ar 7 Awst 1947.
asked the Minister of Health what further information he requires from the Grimsby Rural District Council before the playing fields at Immingham will be made available to the public; whether it has been received; and why he has not given his consent to the scheme.
The information I require is a copy of the council's resolution, plans of the land, and the district valuer's report. The answer to the second part of the Question is "Not yet" and the third part does not, therefore, arise.
Does not the Minister think it a pity that this scheme has been held up for months now, and the local council alleges that the delay was in his Department originally? Can he not expedite the matter?
I think if the hon. Member will study my reply, he will see that I am awaiting certain information.
