All convictions of Poles by the civil courts are referred to my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary who considers the deportation of the offenders in serious cases. There are no special disciplinary formations in the Polish Resettlement Corps.

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether it is possible to deport a man who has been convicted in this way and whether any recommendations for deportation can be carried out?
