asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware of the rapid deterioration of the radar station at Start Point: and whether, in view of this deterioration and the injury caused by the station to local amenities, he will arrange for its early removal.

I am happy to inform the hon. and gallant Member that arrangements are now being made for dismantling the station at Start Point. I am consulting with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Works and my right hon. Friend the Minister of Supply about the removal of the mast and of the huts.
