asked the Minister of Health if he is aware that practically every set of ordinary architectural or housing drawings now submitted to Government Departments for approval is examined by not less than four separate groups of Government-employed architects, each group having the right to require alterations; and if he will take steps to end this waste of money and delay caused by this duplication of effort.
No, Sir. If the hon. Member has particular cases in mind I shall be glad to look into them.
Is it not desirable that this work should be expedited and that four different groups of Government-employed architects should not have the same privilege to cause delay?
The hon. Member is making an allegation without bringing any evidence in support of it.
