Is my right hon. Friend aware that the workers involved understand that the date is 31st July, and that according to what was said by representatives of his Department it would not be until the end of the year? As this is likely to cause hardship and inconvenience, will he consider it again?
Yes, Sir we shall certainly take the staff fully into our confidence as soon as the date has been definitely setled.
