asked the Minister of Transport if he will give the cost per engine for the conversion from coal to oil burning; the length of time taken to carry out such conversion; and the comparative cost per engine mile of coal and oil-burning engines.

Will the Minister remember the very long distance of the Cornish holiday resorts from the industrial centres of the country, and that the workers from those centres need rapid means of transport to get there if the best use is to be made of the limited amount of coal which the Government are able to supply?
