asked the Minister of Food if he is aware that inconvenience is being caused to retail traders when the value of goods is down pointed, as they have to give up to the wholesaler the number of points in operation before the change and receive from the customers the lower number, according to the revised value; and if he will take steps to remove this difficulty.
I am afraid this is unavoidable. The points may, however, be recovered under a procedure which was agreed with representatives of the trade and has been in existence for over two years.
