asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what percentage of imports to the Colonies during 1946 came from the United Kingdom.

Mr. Creech Jones:

I regret that statistics of imports- into the Colonial Empire for 1946 are not likely to be available for some months.

Is the Minister satisfied that full use is being made of such Colonies as Hong Kong, which can help us out during the difficult times with which we are now faced?
