asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will now cease exporting locomotives and wagons, having regard to the fact that the shortage of such rolling stock has contributed to the failure in the distribution of our coal supplies.

No, Sir. I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which was given to the right hon. Member for the City of London (Mr. Assheton) on 28th January, which applies to wagons as well as to locomotives.
