asked the Secretary of State for War if he will extend beyond six months the period for which suitable German prisoners of war are allowed to volunteer to remain for work in this country after their normal repatriation dates.

Prisoners of war who have deferred their repatriation for six months may in the fifth month defer for a further period, and so on each time.
