asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that M. Kolankowski, employed by His Majesty's Government through the Interim Treasury Committee for Polish Affairs issued, without the sanction of the Polish Embassy, a passport to a Polish subject in Glasgow; and what action he proposes to take to prevent the issuing of these illegal documents in future.
I have received no evidence that Monsieur Kolankowski has issued any such passport, but evidence has been adduced that he forwarded an old Polish passport for renewal to the Dublin Consulate, which still purports to represent the former Polish Government in London. Such action is wholly irregular, and Monsieur Kolankowski has been discharged.
