Oral Answers to Questions — Civil Aviation – in the House of Commons am 12:00 am ar 29 Ionawr 1947.
asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation the present payload of the Tudor II aircraft, and the estimated payload when the order for the aircraft was placed.
The present indications are that the payload will not be markedly below 9,675 lb., which was specified in the original order.
Is the Parliamentary Secretary satisfied that when these aircraft are in operation they will have a take-off performance which will enable them to operate on these routes?
That is my information at the present time.
