asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware that work has been offered by his Department at £5 a week on Shobdon aerodrome to agricultural workers; and, in view of the fact that this work is not arduous, and that such offers represent unfair competition to the farmers in the district, if he will have this offer withdrawn.
I think there must be some misunderstanding. My Department have no knowledge of such offers of work at Shobdon aerodrome. Perhaps the hon. and gallant Member will let me have particulars of any cases he has in mind.
